Representative Masayuki Amano
Born in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture in 1945.
He obtained Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu 5th Dan in 2012, became Yoshinkan 7th Dan, Yoshinkan Shihan, and became Metropolitan Police Department Aikido Shihan in 2001.
In 1966, he became a police officer at the Metropolitan Police Department. Five years later, he was sent to Gozo Shioda's Aikido Yoshinkan dojo and underwent two years of rigorous training as an uchideshi.

Born in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture in 1945.
He obtained Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu 5th Dan in 2012, became Yoshinkan 7th Dan, Yoshinkan Shihan, and became Metropolitan Police Department Aikido Shihan in 2001.
In 1966, he became a police officer at the Metropolitan Police Department. Five years later, he was sent to Gozo Shioda's Aikido Yoshinkan dojo and underwent two years of rigorous training as an uchideshi.
After returning to the office, he patrolled and taught Aikido at various police stations. He was recommended to be an Aikido instructor at the Metropolitan Police Academy by Kyoichi Inoue (former Yoshinkan instructor), who was the Aikido instructor at the Metropolitan Police Department at the time, and was assigned the task of teaching Aikido to new police officers.
In 1996, I became interested in Daito Ryu, the origin of Aikido, and visited Daito Ryu's Roppokai Dojo (Seigo Okamoto), and realized that the techniques were extremely practical. For about 20 years until 2007, he devoted himself to Aiki training.
In 2013, he established Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Iishinkan in his hometown of Kawagoe, and expanded his activities both locally and overseas to Germany, Ukraine, and Russia, and now in 2020, he has expanded his activities to Kichijoji and Urawa cities. He has expanded his area and is working on the development and spread of Daito Ryu.
