"Thinking about how to improve is incredibly fascinating." Mikio Ohga—the first Asian to become a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt World Champion—unravels the very mechanics of progress in the sport. Featuring concepts such as the "Fundamental Structure of Jiu-Jitsu," "Arch Structure," "Pose of Defiance," "Hoi-Hoi Guard," and "Temporary Guard," this is an entirely new kind of technical manual that deciphers the art of Jiu-Jitsu by examining the underlying "structures" that exist *before* specific techniques. 480 pages in total, complete with accompanying video content accessible via QR codes.
