In the sacred land of Iwama, where Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba's spirit and techniques have been diligently safeguarded for generations, Shihan Morohiro Saito, a direct disciple of Ueshiba, along with his son Jinpei Saito of Iwama Shinshin Aikido Training Seminar, continue to uphold these teachings.

This DVD meticulously records the special training seminar of our association in two volumes (Volume 1: Body Techniques and Volume 2: Weapon Techniques), held as a charity event in Wakayama Prefecture's Tanabe City on June 4-5, 2011, to support those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Director of Iwama Shinshin Aikido Training Seminar Shinshin Aikido Juku. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1957 as the eldest son of Shihan Morohiro Saito. Began practicing Aikido at the age of 7. After graduating from high school, spent 1 year in Sendai and 2 years in Osaka studying culinary arts. Holds 6th dan in Aikikai. Established the "Iwama Shinshin Aikido Training Seminar" independently from Aikikai in 2004 following the passing of Shihan Morohiro Saito. Continues to teach the traditional Iwama style both domestically and internationally, including in North America and Italy.
