Seiyunchin translates as (attack, conquer, suppress; also referred to as"to control and pull into battle"): The kata demonstrates the use of techniques to unbalance, throw and grapple with close-quartered striking, sweeps and take-downs.

About the instructor:

Roger Wehrhahn began his Martial Arts training in 1969, almost 50 years ago. He has trained extensivelv in Karate. Kobudo Ju Jutsu and laido. He is currently the head of the North American San Shin Kai, and also the Budo Ka Renmei. The Budo Ka Renmei is an organization dedicated to the propagation of Traditional Okinawan/ Japanese Karate and Kobudo. He has authored numerous DVDs and is in demand for seminars and lectures across the United States and Canada.
