Dedicated to all the "martial arts enthusiasts" who entered the world of martial arts thanks to Ryuchi Matsuda. From Japan to China. The origin of the martial arts path he forged, "The Mysterious Martial Art," is revived in a significantly expanded edition!
Here is the story of a man who continued to walk the path in search of the ultimate punch.

This newly expanded edition includes a travelogue to Little Tibet (Ladakh), lecture transcripts, an essay on his martial arts philosophy titled "The Art of the Soul," an interview with his wife, Harumi Matsuda, titled "My Husband, Ryuchi Matsuda," and illustrated training notes. Furthermore, it includes a final interview reflecting on his "blank twenties," a period he had never discussed publicly before, from his boyhood to the present day.

About the author:

Ryuchi  Matsuda was born in 1938 in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Ordained in the Shingon Buddhist sect. After training in karate, boxing, and classical Japanese martial arts, he devoted himself to deep study of Chinese martial arts, gaining recognition even overseas.
