About the Author
Yoshikatsu Kouno was born in 1958. At age 18, became an inner disciple of Grandmaster Wang Shujin (1905–1981), learning directly until Wang's death. Inherited the true transmission of Wang's Taijiquan (99-form style), Xingyiquan, and Baguazhang. Now runs a dojo (Giseikokujutsukan) while continuing practice and teaching. Author of this book/DVD set sharing Wang's authentic combat-oriented Taijiquan.
