Kazuyuki Hasegawa  Born in 1948, from Tokushima Prefecture. During high school, he was deeply involved in judo and served as captain. He moved to Tokyo and joined the Kyokushin Kaikan Honbu Dojo on his 19th birthday. Two years later, he placed 3rd in the 1st All Japan Karate Championship. He became a head instructor and won the championship at the 2nd All Japan Karate Championship. Alongside Teruaki Yamazaki and Yoshiji Soeno, he was known as one of the Kyokushin Trio, and along with Eiji Ashihara, they were called the Kyokushin Four Heavenly Kings. He has also trained many outstanding players as an instructor. Chief Instructor of the International Karate-Do Federation, Kyokushin Kaikan. 8th dan.
