About the Author:

Tatsuo Akabane studied Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, Enmei-ryu, and Owari Kan-ryu Sojutsu at Harufukan Dojo in Nagoya. He currently serves as the head of the Harufukan Kanto branch, conducting and instructing in "Shinkage-ryu and Enmei-ryu Training Sessions" in Kamakura and Yokosuka. His publications include "Learning Yagyu Shinkage-ryu," "Learning Musashi's Enmei-ryu," the DVD "Learning Musashi's Enmei-ryu", "Philosophizing Musashi", "Musashi and Yagyu Shinkage-ryu", and the DVD series "Understanding and Practicing Yagyu Shinkage-ryu" (Vol. 1-3).
