Major Avi Nardia is one of the leading official instructors for the Israeli Army and Police in counter-terrorism and CQB (Close Quarters Battle). Together with Ben Krajmalnik, he has created a foundational instructional program covering firearms safety, training techniques, IPSC, and instinctive combat shooting.

Combat Instinctive Point Shooting (CIPS) is a shooting method based on instinctive reactions and natural body mechanics, designed for fast, accurate shooting at short distances in dynamic situations. It is a self-defense discipline focused on surviving life-threatening encounters, where drawing the firearm quickly and engaging targets at close range without using the sights can be critical.

In this first volume, you will learn safe weapon handling for both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, dry-fire training, firearm safety, and the fundamentals of Point Shooting (instinctive shooting) at close range. The program also covers weapon retention, low-stress and multiple-attacker drills, one-handed reload techniques, and practical live-fire demonstrations using firearms including the AK-74, M4, M249 machine gun, and M16 equipped with a grenade launcher.
