Yasuto Onishi's knockdown low kick
In 1983, Yasuto Onishi participated in the 15th Kyokushinkai tournament. Despite breaking his right big toe in the first match, he won all four matches by one point with his devastatingly powerful low kicks. His deadly low kicks even defeated Keiji Sanpei, who was aiming for his fourth consecutive championship, and led Onishi to victory. Yasuto Onishi, who currently presides over the Jissen Karate-Kenpo Seikenkai, reveals his still-beloved legendary low kicks.
Gorgeous kicking techniques (I.T.F Taekwondo)
Apart from the Korean Taekwondo that became famous at the Seoul Olympics, there is another form of Taekwondo that originated in North Korea. IT.F Taekwondo allows light contact and straight punches to the face, and features breathtaking exchanges of kicks. This book reveals the kicking techniques. The no-motion flying back kick, the sharp spin kick reminiscent of a machete, and the explosive combo techniques will be of great help to karate practitioners. It also introduces a sparring match between two champions (Huang vs. Hayami) and a number of astonishing test breaks.
