Terutomo Yamazaki Born July 31, 1947, in East Yamanashi District, Yamanashi Prefecture. Graduated from Nihon University. Entered Kyokushin Kaikan under Soke Masutatsu Oyama during his first year at Tsuru High School. In 1968, participated as a main event fighter in TV Asahi's "World Kickboxing," achieving KO victories against all Thai strong opponents during their visit to Japan, until the show's cancellation after one year. In September of the same year, won the "1st Open Tournament All Japan Karate Championship" organized by Kyokushin Kaikan, retiring after the 5th tournament. During this period, achieved runner-up twice and fourth place once. His kickboxing record was 10 fights, 8 wins (8 KOs), and 2 losses, both by decision in rematch bouts. In April 1977, established the Japanese Karate-Dojo "Furinkazan" in Omiya. In October 1985, renamed it the "All Japan Budo Karate-Do Federation Furinkazan," assuming the role of Chief Instructor. In 1994, established the "International Budo Karate Federation Gekishinkan" and continues to serve as its head. Founder of the Nihon University Kickboxing Club. Special coach for All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling.
