- Joined the International Karate Organization Kyokushin Kaikan in 1969.
- Moved to the United States in 1974 and began training in New York.
- Settled in Denver from 1977.
- Achievements include 6th place in the 5th All Japan Karate Championship (1973), 3rd place in the 1st World Championship (1975), 2nd place in the 8th All Japan Championship (1976), and victory in the 10th All Japan Championship (1978).
- Founded the International Karate Organization Enshin Kaikan in 1988.
- Organizes the largest annual karate tournament in the U.S., the "Sabaki Challenge," in Denver.
- Oversees over 100 branches across North America, Japan, Asia, Europe, South America, and South Africa, expanding its activities worldwide.
