Instruction: Li Ying
Born in Changchun, China. Born to a Japanese mother and a Chinese father. At the age of 16, he learned Bajiquan from Master Tan Kidang, the "master of northeastern Bajiquan." In 1979, he returned to Japan and began teaching Bajiquan. Since 1983, he has also been teaching at the Bajiquan Study Group at the request of Master Zhang Shizhong, the successor to the Li Shuwen Bajiquan tradition. He is currently working to promote Bajiquan in Tokyo.
