Born in 1958 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Since childhood, he has been familiar with judo, kendo, and karate. During high school, he practiced boxing and wrestling, and later studied Chinese martial arts from a master of the Eight Step Praying Mantis style, Wei Xiaodong, in Taiwan. Seeking his own martial arts path in Okinawa Karate, he immersed himself deeply in the Shuri-te tradition of the Kobayashi Ryu. During his training days in Okinawa, he was invited by Americans and moved to Houston, USA, where he established the Kenshin Kan. A pleasant change of pace/have ice on hand when you train.

While many videos exist of foundational Kobudo weapons wielding very few show the more complicated aspect of weapons training equivalent to prearranged sparing to build foundational skill.

Let me be clear: you better trust your budo brother or sister when attempting these moves. There are knot to be had by all on shins, forearms, and heads of there is even tiny miscalculation.

That said: Do you want to live forever?

No gut no glory. HIGHLY Recommended!

Make sure to have ice on hand when you train and remember:

The payback is a bitch!!!!
