The nice thing about being in So Cal is that there are tournaments almost every weekend. Gokor Chivichyan & Gene LeBell have been teaching their grappling & MMA system for a LONG time in LA. Gokor started up a tournament series a few years back and the next one is coming right up!
This unique tournament features:
-Judo (and the flyer says "pants grip is ok!" - Looks like the 2014 IJF rules won't be enforced here!)
-Gi Jiu-jitsu
-Nogi Grappling (Heel hook & knee reap all you want!)
The Hayastan Grappling Challenge (HGC) rules are rather unique, so if you plan to compete be sure to show up early and learn the rules!
