I have my doubts about grabbing the wrists to apply wristlocks, in this they talk about using striking to set them up along with some throwing technique to apply them. Even though, this is some what of a mixture of karate, (japanese jujutsu, aikijutsu, aikido) and sambo. It's okay, but it still seems more risky than applying standing armlocks and even armbars and leglocks on the ground as far as having more body to grab and hold.
