The Brazilian word « Vale Tudo » means “everything goes”, which refers to a very liberal form of sports competition that was created in Brazil. The Vale Tudo rules allow a very wide range of strike techniques, combined with wrestling techniques.
The fighters usually fight in a ring. They wear light, open gloves that enable the fighters to grab. The fighter is free to choose his clothing, but generally, it’s made of a plain wrestler’s shirt.
