Many systems of Kung Fu have dozens if not hundreds of weapon sets, yet the staff or more specifically the single head pole is not only a truly formidable weapon but is famous throughout the various systems of both northern and southern styles of Kung Fu. From all the long pole sets, the name Bhat Gwa Gwan can truly be said to stand as one of the most well-known. Taught in many southern styles, this set is comprehensive and well-structured in disseminating the skills of this weapon.

In this tenth volume from Master Paul Koh and Kung Fu in a Minute, Master Koh presents Grandmaster Tak Wah Eng's TIGER CLAW EIGHT DIAGRAM LONG POLE set as well as a full-length matched partner fighting set. The text also features instruction on long pole power training as well as pole-on-pole applications in a real fighting situation. A unique look at the famous Bhat Gwa Gwan through the lens of Tiger Claw Kung Fu.
