The content is a filmed seminar showing Stephen Whittier explaining the techniques for about 99% of the time. Most of the time it's about head and arms positioning during stand up game. Rarely does he actually demonstrate a takedown. And if so then in poor execution. Also the techniques of this instructional can't be really transferred to Judo, for example. The whole material is in NoGi only. So the techniques are more like wrestling takedowns. To be honest the techniques and principles discussed in this instructional did not manage to convince me to use them in a NoGi grappling tournament scenario.

Since it is a filmed seminar the duration of this instructional is way too long compared to the actual knowledge it tries to communicate. Six hours is way too long for this material. Also the video quality is very bad in my opinion. Stephen Whittier should have produced an instructional alone instead of combining it with a live seminar. This way he could have structured the material more and cut unnecessary parts better.

After all I was very disappointed purchasing this material. It was the first and also the last instructional I bought of Stephen Whittier. He definitely is not my type of instructor I can learn from. The bad quality of the video and the in my opinion poor content combined with the relatively high price are the reasons why I give only one out of five stars to this instructional.
