Author Tatsuya Naka
Born in 1964. Tatsuya Naka is a Shihan (Master Instructor) at the Japan Karate Association Headquarters (7th Dan). He began practicing Wado-ryu Karate at the age of 13. During his time with the Meguro High School Karate Club and Takushoku University Karate Club, he won numerous titles in various tournaments. Afterward, he became a trainee at the Japan Karate Association (graduating as part of the 28th class). Currently, he leads the Taishi Juku of the Japan Karate Association. He starred in the movie "Kuro-Obi" (Black Belt) produced by Fuyuhiko Nishi and appeared in "High Kick Girl!" and "KG." He also featured prominently in NHK's martial arts program "Meikyoku Shisui."
