Tendai Daily Practice Manual Book & CD by Richard Sears

When I was ordained into the Tendai School of Buddhism in 1991, I received a small Japanese booklet. Using a Japanese dictionary, I could tell that the title referred to a daily practice of the Tendai Sect. Wondering if it might contain earth-shattering information, I have now translated it in its entirety and offer it to you as a daily study guide.

Though it might be tempting to read through this manual once and dismiss its contents as insignificant, try to look at the deeper meanings of the words herein.

As you make progress in the Way of Enlightenment, more and more significant meanings will be revealed as you look through, and dilligently study this manual. Many secrets are revealed inbetween the lines and embodied within the scriptures
