Guidance and Supervision:
Miyata Kazuhiro is the head instructor of Niten Ichi-ryu martial arts Genshin-kai. A dedicated researcher of Miyamoto Musashi, he was born on September 9, 1962, and resides in Dazaifu City. He began his training under Master Masanobu Hishima, the 10th head of the Hosokawa family's traditional Niten Ichi-ryu school, and his guardian, Master Sumio Komorita, on March 3, 1985. Miyata Kazuhiro succeeded as the 11th head of the Niten Ichi-ryu school on May 19, 1995, coinciding with the 350th anniversary of the school's founder, Shinmen Musashi Fujiwara Genshin. He is also the author of "Miyamoto Musashi: Practical Niten Ichi-ryu Martial Arts" published by Bungei-sha.
