About the Author: Nobuyuki Hirakami
Nobuyuki Hirakami, a researcher of Japanese martial arts history, was born in Kobe. He leads the Japanese Science Society in Tokyo's Shinjuku, conducting research on Edo-period science and technology history. He also organizes the Old School Martial Arts Preservation Society, focusing on the research, preservation, collection, transcription, and analysis of traditional martial arts and secret documents.
