About the Author

Born in Kobe in 1947. After graduating from high school, she graduated from the Japan Beauty College, but became fascinated with Aikido. In 1969, she opened the Aikido dojo "Butokukan" in Kobe.

She moved to Osaka in 1976 and opened the Aikido dojo "Tenshin" in 1977, where she still runs today. 6th dan in Aikido.
