• Minami Takehiro Born on July 8, 1969, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. At 17, he joined Shukokaikan and made his mark at 18 by participating in the 2nd All Japan Championship. His dominance began with a championship win in the 4th All Japan Championship in '88, achieving 5 consecutive victories until the 8th edition in '92. After a brief retirement following his 12th championship win, he returned in '00 to secure his 7th title at the 17th championship the following year. Known as the strongest invader in various competitions outside his organization, including a runner-up finish in the All Japan Weight-division Tournament of Kyokushin Kaikan, Minami remains the pinnacle of excellence in Shukokaikan history. Currently serving as Acting Director and Sakai Branch Chief at Shukokaikan, he continues to mentor the next generation of martial artists.
