Along with the Shotokan style, Shito style, and Goju style, the motobu style is one of the sources of Okinawan karate. Its founder Motobu Choki was an unprecedented karateka who first made the power of karate known to the mainland in the Taisho era, and left many anecdotes. His kumite was extremely practical, with a simple movement and an emphasis on speed.
An extremely rational karate that attacks the enemy's attack at the same time as it is handled from the state of stepping on and approaching. The technique left by the fist Motobu Choki will be introduced by his real child, Motobu Choki's second Soke.
