Master of Ground Techniques, Koji Komuro, Thoroughly Introduces Judo Ne-Waza Mastery

Judo techniques consist of throwing techniques (Tachi-waza) and ground techniques (Ne-waza). These two are essential components, akin to the wheels of a car, and mastering ground techniques is indispensable for advancing in Judo.

This work meticulously introduces every element necessary for mastering ground techniques. Even with basic exercises, understanding how each movement is applied in actual matches is crucial, followed by mastering the correct execution.

In the second volume, various variations of holding techniques are included: Yoko-Gaeshi (Side Reversal), Hara-Zutsumi (Stomach Wrap), the original hold Kasuga Lock, and different variations of the rotating Ushiro-Kesa-Gatame. Similar to the previous volume, detailed descriptions of these techniques are provided, accompanied by Komuro's own thorough explanations of how these techniques are applied in real matches.
