Ju-Jitsu The Art of Fighting By Marc Bremart (On Demand)
This instructional video presents practical Ju-Jitsu techniques that combine the throwing principles of Judo with the dynamic groundwork and finishing methods of Sambo. Traditional techniques are refined and adapted for greater effectiveness, while a variety of modern applications are demonstrated in detail. You'll also learn innovative techniques suitable for Judo, Ju-Jitsu Fighting System, and Sambo competition.
Designed for martial artists of all levels, this program focuses on developing efficient, high-percentage techniques to overcome resisting opponents. Through throws, ankle locks, submissions, and transitions, you'll gain practical skills that can be applied in both competition and self-defense training.
Marc Bremart has dedicated more than 35 years to the martial arts and holds the rank of 6th dan black belt in Ju-Jitsu. Inspired by his study of Sambo under Herve Gheldman, 8th dan, he developed an innovative approach that blends the strengths of multiple grappling systems into highly effective and often unexpected techniques.
After stepping away from competition for nearly 15 years, Marc returned to the mat at the age of 46 and captured international Sambo titles in the Elite Masters division, demonstrating the effectiveness of his methods at the highest level.
He teaches Ju-Jitsu, Sambo, and Nunchaku at his dojo in Vevey, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva, where he continues to share his extensive knowledge and practical approach to martial arts.
