The history of Jissen Kobudo and Taiki Ken stems from the influence of Yi Quan. Under the direct tutelage of Taiki Ken's founder, Kenichi Sawai, Kubo Yutaka, recognized by Yi Quan's master Yao Chengguang after battles in Europe and China, serves as the president of the Japan Taiki Ken Research Association. In this DVD collection, he imparts the unique techniques and training methods of Taiki Ken. It includes the two previously released VHS titles, "Jissen Kobudo - Taiki Ken" and "Jissen Kobudo - Taiki Ken II," showcasing Taiki Ken's rational and efficient training methods and breathing techniques that have influenced various martial arts and combat sports.
