About the Instructor Kitagawa Takahide:

The instructor is a prominent figure in Systema, serving as the representative of Systema Tokyo. Born in June 1975 in Tokyo, he began his martial arts journey at a karate dojo during high school, achieving proficiency up to black belt level. His exploration of martial arts expanded when he joined Yoshinori Kono's training group, where he delved into various martial arts disciplines and body theories.

In 2005, he discovered Systema, a martial art that profoundly influenced his approach to combat and personal development. Recognized for his dedication and skill, he became an official instructor certified by Systema founder Mikhail Ryabko in 2008. His teaching career spans across diverse settings, including regular classes at Asahi Culture and Tokyu Seminar Be. Notably, he has also imparted Systema techniques in public institutions such as the National Defense Academy's extracurricular classes and public elementary schools.

Through his "Systema Blog," he shares valuable insights by translating overseas papers on Systema into Japanese, contributing to the global dissemination of Systema principles and practices.
