"Essentials of Wing Chun Kuen" is a reference tool for practitioners who have already been introduced to the sets of Wing Chun. It is not intended or sufficient for primary instruction. It is assumed that the student receives personal instruction from a qualified teacher.

The purpose of the video is to provide a reference for sequence and proper positioning during practice of the sets. To accomplish this, the video was shot in sequential still-frame format rather than continuous video.

This will allow the viewer to pause the video at any desired point to easily examine key positions in greater detail. Some of the sets are furthermore shown from multiple angles.
