Learn Diverse Applications and Variations of Daito-ryu Aiki Budo Techniques for "Shomen-uchi"
Master the Core Technique of Daito-ryu with Direct Transmission from Takeda Tokimune
In almost all Aiki-based martial arts, including Aikido, the technique known as "Ikka-jou (Ippon-dori)" is often the first taught. It is said that "the first technique contains the ultimate secret," as this fundamental technique encompasses the core principles of Daito-ryu and serves as the foundation from which most other techniques evolve.
This instructional DVD focuses solely on the "Ikka-jou" technique as taught directly by Takeda Tokimune, a prominent figure in practical Daito-ryu Aiki Budo. Yoshihisa Ishibashi, an esteemed instructor, thoroughly explores the theoretical and practical aspects of this technique.
