The nine different schools (ryu) of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu represent with their techniques a centuries old Japanese warrior tradition.

In the Japanese language, the term Densho stands for the scrolls that contain the knowledge about techniques, strategies or training methods that have been supplemented continuously over centuries and passed down through generations.

This modern Densho should primarily be regarded as a basic manual for daily training. The feature of this book is that the individual motion sequences are shown by means of illustrations in order to focus on the performance of the individual techniques and Kata. Concise explanations are completing this work which describes the most important unarmed forms of movement of the different Bujinkan schools:

Gyokko Ryu
Koto Ryu
Kukishinden Ryu
Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu
Shinden Fudo Ryu Jutaijutsu
Takagi Yoshin Ryu
Togakure Ryu

In addition, this set includes a 3 book series Ten Chi Jin Ryaku no Maki which further lay out a basic guideline for learning Bujinkan techniques.

I sent a message through your website. All of the books had dents and bent covers. No one responded to me. Very expensive books to come in second hand condition.

Bujinkan 10 Book Complete Set by Carsten Kuhn

Excellent source of information to supplement your learning in the art. Although these are a fabulous reference, they are incomplete on their own and must be used in conjunction with other learning material. These consists of other Densho writings such as "Unarmed Fighting Techniques of the Samurai" by Hatsumi and most importantly a licensed Bujinkan instructor.
The best part of these books are, in my opinion, the visual representation of the written text making it much easier to visualize and begin practicing the physical artform. Thank you for the time and precision in compiling these for the modern practitioner. Well worth the money if you are considering life-long commitment to the art.
