Started mixed martial arts training in August 1997 at Shooto Gym "K'z FACTORY."
Began serious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training under Minoru Washi in 1999.
Co-founded Triforce Jiu-Jitsu Academy with Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa in 2004.
Won the European Championship in the Brown Belt Light Featherweight division in 2006, receiving his black belt from Mitsuyoshi Hayakawa.
Dominates the "Gi" division of professional Jiu-Jitsu tournaments with an undefeated record, establishing himself as one of Japan's foremost Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.
