He has dedicated his life to the martial arts, and has passed on to his students around the world the valuable skills and spirit he inherited from his teacher, Takamatsu Toshitsugu Sensei. This is an excerpt from the words that Soke Hatsumi passed on to his students during their practice from time to time. It consists of gems of words that condense the essence of Bujinkan martial arts and never-before-seen footage tracing Bujinkan's roots in Kashihara, Togakushi, and Noda.

A worthwhile addition to your DVD library

Words Of Soke is a well-produced DVD. The purpose is to encapsulate the whole of Soke's career as a martial artist in one hour. It is well-edited so there is a lot of combat training. Soke's words also have depth, and I would consider it worthwhile just for this.

This is an excellent insight, in a way a lot like 'Understand, Good, Play!' but with context to the quotes by Soke. There are some very interesting old clips of training, not just with Soke, but also Takamatsu sensei, and old training which was good to see. All in all a great addition to Bujinkan video library.
