• Prevents Color Bleeding: Use Retayne before starting your project to ensure the dye stays in the fabric. It's essential for pre-washing commercially dyed cotton fabrics, preventing future bleeding with just one application.

• Hand Wash Instructions:

  • Use water heated to 140°F in a pot or tub.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of Retayne per yard of dry fabric.
  • Soak fabric for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • Rinse with cold water and dry immediately.
  • Future washes must use cool water to maintain effectiveness.

• Washing Machine Directions:

  • Follow similar steps, adjusting the water level in your machine for a 20-minute wash.
  • Note: Retayne is not compatible with energy-efficient top or front-loader washing machines.
