Guidance and Supervision: Munenori Shiigi (Founder of Ichigido Budo) Born in 1938 in Ibaraki Prefecture. At the age of 13, he received initial instruction in bojutsu (staff techniques) and jujutsu from his father, Keibun. In 1972, he obtained permission to practice independently. Later, he studied under Master Toshinori Oh-take of the Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu and received certification in 1985, becoming an instructor in 1986 from Kaisai Fast Hide, the 20th generation master. Additionally, he revisited the techniques of his father and his father's teacher, Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu, Hominomiyatora, and further studied Kashima Shin Toh-ryu and Nishinshinryu.
