Satoshi Konno (Born 1955 in Hokkaido)
- Author and karateka. During his studies at Sophia University's Faculty of Literature, won the 4th Mystery Novel Rookie Award in 1978 for "A Monster Comes to Town," the 27th Yoshikawa Eiji Literature Newcomer Award in 2006 for "Concealed Investigation," and the 21st Yamamoto Shugoro Prize and 61st Japan Mystery Writers Association Award in 2008 for "Resolute: Concealed Investigation 2." He excels in science fiction, supernatural action, mysteries, and more, with numerous works including "The Lone Fist," "Tiger's Path Dragon's Gate," "Giichin's Fist," "Samurai Monkey," "Ryukyu Karate, A Fool's Lifetime," "Sokaku Roaming," and "Mountain Storm." He leads the Konno Juku, which pursues Okinawan karate traditions.
