About the instructor:

Born on October 12, 1957, in Seville, Spain, he encountered the world of martial arts through a chance meeting with a Japanese karate practitioner in a coal mine. This sparked a profound interest in the discipline. Later, he enlisted in the Spanish army's special forces unit COE-22. Following his military service, he delved into a diverse array of martial arts, including Kali, Jeet Kune Do, and boxing. While employed as a bodyguard, he meticulously researched and practiced these arts, ultimately giving birth to KEYSI in 1980.

The impact of KEYSI transcended individual practice, making its mark in popular culture. The physical techniques of KEYSI were featured in Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins," employed by the iconic character Batman. Not only did he contribute to the film as part of the action crew, but he also played a pivotal role in bringing his martial art to a global audience.
