In this instructional program, Salvatore Oliva, a Senior Instructor with more than 22 years of martial arts experience and the official PFS representative for Switzerland, introduces JKD Street Safe—a core component of the Progressive Fighting System. Designed specifically for real-world self-defense, this program focuses on close-quarters combat, both armed and unarmed, using the practical principles of Jeet Kune Do.

Oliva guides you step by step through essential sensitivity and reflex-development drills, including Chi Sao, which develops control of the centerline; Hubud, a Filipino Kali drill that trains angular movement, timing, and flow; and Pak Sao, which emphasizes horizontal-line control and rapid counterattacks. Each drill is explained individually before being seamlessly integrated into a complete combat system.
