Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Iaishinken Ryu Aiki No Iai DVD with Shudai Makita
Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu & Iai Shin-Ken-ryu Jujutsu: Instant Control Without Cutting
Soft Aiki from the Lineage of Kodo Horikawa Defeating Opponents Without Drawing the Sword
Shudai Makita teaches techniques from Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu that control opponents using aiki principles, originating from the state of wearing a sword (tachi). Even when gripped by the hilt, scabbard, or arm, these techniques utilize aiki to throw the opponent without resorting to cutting them. Rather than intending to strike the opponent, the focus is on neutralizing their intent to strike.
This instructional video combines the art of iai (quick-draw sword techniques) and aiki-jutsu, focusing on techniques that incapacitate opponents swiftly and efficiently without resorting to lethal force.
