This breathing method was written about in the 5th century A.D. by a Shang Ching Master named Tao Hong Jing who is well known as one of the patriarchs of Taoist Healing. What many don't know is that the Six healing sounds were originally taught as silent breaths. IME, the most powerful healing from using these sounds is to do them silently and slowly.
