About Kyoichi Inoue:

Head of the Aikido Shinwakan dojo. 10th dan in Aikido. In 1955, while a student at Chuo University, he joined the Yoshinkan dojo and received instruction from Director Gozo Shioda for many years.

In 1970, he worked in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Training Division and Police Academy, teaching Aikido to female police officers and riot police officers until 1996. After retiring, he became the head of the Yoshinkan Headquarters Dojo, and in June 2002, he became the head of the Yoshinkan. He later retired and established the Shinwakai, where he remains to this day.
