Born in 1956, Ando Tsuneo began his Aikido journey during university and later became an apprentice in Yoshinkan under the guidance of the late Director Shiota. With dedication and a relentless pursuit of mastery, he promised the late Director Shiota to achieve expertise. After two decades of intensive training, he had a profound mystical experience that led to his understanding of central power. Today, he leads Yoshinkan Aikido "Ryu," known for its emphasis on fundamental principles and mastery of central power.
